One of the most remembered and most iconic gowns from the 2008 La Dame Bleu collection was the Parrot Dress. This vibrantly colored dress, with wings, was inspired by and dedicated to fashion editor Isabella Blow. She was Alexander McQueen's muse and friend, who was known for her love of fanciful, wild and unconventional fashion choices.
