HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, CHARLIE BROWN!!!!
Yes, on December 9, 1965 on CBS was the first broadcasting of A Charlie Brown Christmas. This partnership lasted for 35 years ending in 2000. A Charlie Brown Christmas began broadcasting on ABC on December 6, 2001 and ending on December 17, 2019.
By October of 2020, somebody decided to sell their soul to the devil and Apple TV+. Giving Apple exclusive rights to Peanuts media, including A Charlie Brown Christmas. Ending a 54 year run on network television. This being said, A Charlie Brown Christmas and the other holiday specials have to be made available for free on the platform for a three day period. Apparently these terms go through to 2030. Hopefully Charlie Brown will return to broadcast television. 🤞
MERRY
CHRISTMAS
CHARLIE BROWN
