Back in March of 2011 when I was starting to muddle my way through the blogsphere, still feel like it at times, and did my second post ,I told you that this blogs name was in honor of my cat that looks like a Russian Blue and who is not quite happily laying on me at this moment because I am typing and not petting him. I said then that I didn't have any pictures of him I am here to say that can now be rectified. His name is Spooky and he is seven this year. His nickname is Boo Boo or Spooky Boo Boo. So without further adieu here is my Spooky Boo Boo:
Nothing special. Just books, cats, flowers, teas &accessories. Plus music with maybe sports thrown in for fun.

Claimed Misha's Blue on Bloglovin
It is done. I have claimed Misha's Blue onto Bloglovin and put up their follow button and it has left me with a bit of a headache.
Now come Monday I don not know if using the Bloglovin follow button will be the only way to follow this and my other three blogs or if there will still be the normal follow button that has been here. It would be nice if both can be used.
Now when and if you do click on the Bloglovin follow button you will be taken to the Misha's Blue page on Bloglovin with a follow button below the title. Click it and you're good to go. Also, in between the follow button and the title is the link back to here to my blog on Blogger/Blogspot.
Hope you will continue to enjoy Misha's Blue.

Supermoon 2013
Supermoon is when the moon will be it's biggest of 2013. The moon is at it's closest to Earth on June 23. This close brush happens as the moon enters it's fullest phase, thus creating a supermoon. The moon will appear 12% larger when it is at its closest and fullest.
I was able to take some pictures of the moon last night and tonight at about 25 hours apart. They are in no way shape or for great to look at, this may be because it was too early to take them I really don't know. I'm just hoping for fair to middling pictures of the moon. The first one is from Saturday night, the 22nd. With my first picture I took of the moon I learned it is better to have the flash off.
My second one is the one I am most proud of of the night. Maybe of all of the moon pictures.
With my next one... Oh Lord! Should have left the camera setting alone. Looks like an 18-wheeler coming with its headlights on high beam or something along that line of thought.
Now tonight is much better than that last one because I learned my lesson: keep flash off and put the camera on Night Portrait setting instead of Night Landscape.
And my final one
Like I said they're not the greatest but I do hope you enjoyed them.

Journey-Dont Stop Believing
For James Gandolfini who sadly and shockingly died today. A fine actor who when he appeared on screen or stage you just had to stop and watch him and he made you forget about the other actors. He made his name as Tony Soprano and he will always be Tony Soprano in our hearts. You are sadly missed, James Gandolfini
Don't Stop Believing
Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
A smoker in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share a night
It goes on and on and on
Strangers waitng
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh the movie never ends
It just goes on and on and on
Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somwhere in the night
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streelight people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight peple

McQueen Monday #1
I have decided, that for me at least, and I mean this with love and respect,Alexander McQueen is the King of Fashion Porn. Now don't get me wrong I love my Elie Saab, Dior, Valentino and Zuhair Murad. Oh and Marchesa, can't forget Marchesa. But there is just something about Alexander McQueen clothes that just says"Here I am and I will not be ignored".
So with that being said, I have decided to start the week with a Monday post of Alexander McQueen. This will be some of the earlier pieces, some even before he started his own label, until I do a complete post on the Fall/Winter 2013-2014 line, which is going to be difficult considering I have gone completely gaga over some of the pieces. Clutches, handbags and shoes will be included.

Find Jack!
This is to help a Twitter/Facebook friend Angie Long in Alabama. Last Saturday her dog jack went missing off of her front yard on Joe Killough Road near the town of Honoraville, Alabama. His mama Seabee and Jack's human parents, Angie being his human mama, miss him and are really worried about Jack.
So if you see Jack and/or know where he is please let his family in Alabama know. Angie's blog. Jack is precious and a little bit bigger now than in the picture.

The Song Remains the Same (song)
The Song Remains the Same is the first track off of Led Zeppelin's 1973 album Houses of the Holy.
This was Robert Plant's tribute to world music, reflecting his belief that music is universal.
Originally The Song Remains the Same was an instrumental with the working title The Oveture, before Plant put lyrics to it, after which the song became known as The Campaign before Led Zeppelin settled on The Song Remains the Same.
Zeppelin first performed the song live on their 1972 Japanese Tour Bootlegs from this tour show that the song did not have a settled title to it. Plant even called the song Zep while on stage in Tokyo. From late 1972 to 1975 The Song Remains the Same ( just as on Houses of the Holy) segued into The Rain Song. The Song Remains the Same would be the opening song for the 1977 and 1979 concerts, before being dropped from the set list for the 1980 European tour. The song was also performed at the 2007 Led Zeppelin reunion show at the O2 Arena.
For the album release Robert Plant's vocals were slightly sped up, while Jimmy Page played the overdubs on a Fender Telecaster guitar and a Rickenbacker 12-string guitar. In live performances, however, Jimmy played a Gibson EDS-1275 double neck 12-string.

The Song Remains the Same
I had a dream. Crazy dream.
Anything I wanted to know, any place I needed to go.
Hear my song. People won't you listen now?
Sing along.
You don't know what your missing now.
Any little song that you know.
Everything that is small has to grow.
And it has to grow.
Na, na, na, na,wow!
California sunlight, Calcutta rain.
Honolulu starbright- the song remains the same.
Sing out Hare hare, dance the Hoochie Koo.
City lights are oh so bright , as we go sliding...sliding...sliding through.
Anything I wanted to know, any place I needed to go.
Hear my song. People won't you listen now?
Sing along.
You don't know what your missing now.
Any little song that you know.

Tea For Tuesday #8 - Alessi Tea Kettles
Discovered Alessi teakettles when I came across this picture of a giant tea kettle outside the Alessi factory in Omegna, Italy.
Next I found a Richard Sapper vintage Allesi train whistle tea kettle, which I find unique because of the whistle. Can you even imagine having that whistle first thing in the morning if you are not a morning person?
An Alessi Michael Grave spinning whistle tea kettle. May I also add that it is vintage.
And of course the Michael Graves bird whistle tea kettle for Alessi.
