Music Monday - Rolling Stones - Rough and Twisted
Hello folks. I do hope you are doing well.
Today's entry for Music Monday was released by today by the Rolling Stones. Rough and Twisted is from their upcoming album ' Foreign Tongues ' that will be released on July 10, 2026. Which is 16 days before Mick Jagger's 83rd birthday. Strange not having Charlie Watts on the skins but, from the two songs that I have heard, In the Stars and Rough and Twisted, I think he would like it.
The song is very blues infused. I don't know for certain how long it has been since they have done this type of bluesy song, but I hear some Bo Didley in Keith Richards' guitar playing.
So here's to the Stones who never quit Rolling. 🎶🎸🇬🇧
