Tea for Tuesday #29

I recently came upon a tea pot attachment called a tea pot drip catcher. Instead of holding the tip of the tea pot lid with your hand when pouring tea this is put on to hold the lid in place. Knowing me, I would still have a hand on the top of the lid.

Music Monday - Song of the Nairobi Trio

Having watched a lot of " What's My Line " on YouTube, I think it was evident that I would eventually watch an episode with Ernie Kovacs. Actually, I watched two episodes before I got curious enough to find out who was Ernie Kovacs . Seems my brain was getting him and Jerry Colonna mixed up. Dark hair. Moustaches. I thought Mr. Colonna smoked cigars, too. That would be a no.

Anyway, in my reading up on Mr. Kovacs I read about the Nairobi Trio. Edie Adams, his wife, and Jack Lemmon, best friend, would sometimes partake in the Nairobi Trio. The music was originally called ' Solfeggio ' by Robert Maxwell  and was released in 1953. This is the version that Mr. Kovacs used on his television series. The song was rereleased in 1957 with the permanent title ' Song of the Nairobi Trio '.
